Radioactive and Battle Royal; made for the same reason

I feel like “Battle Royal” has a very similar context as the modern day music video by Imagine Dragons radio active. In "Battle Royal", the main character is used to being a special African – American. He is intelligent, kind and very educated. When he gets invited to give a speech at a white man’s meeting, he takes the opportunity and of course, it seems to be very misleading.
In the music video for “Radioactive” there is an arena where men pit other men’s stuffed animals. Something so plush, and innocent, like the white men in that society are put to face one another all though each other them are very similar.  Though they are all stuffed animals, because of the thrill they receive from the crowd, which in this case is just human beings rather than stuffed animals, they fight each other to the death, pulling at limbs and arms until stuffing is dispersed all over the floor.
This to me, is similar to "Battle Royal" because they are all similar in the arena – they are all African American. Yet, due to their peers and the crowds they choose to ignore their similarities and fight for themselves; all though the real reason they are fighting is simply to entertain the white men.

Again, in the music video, all of the characters seem to be mindlessly fighting while one particular stuffed animal takes pride in being the “master” and the “Champion” of all of the stuffed animals. He takes all of his opponents for granted, and this new pink small teddy bear, similar to the protagonist in "Battle Royal", gets looked over. Instead of uniting again their oppressors, they fight and are forced to hurt one another; just like in "Battle Royal".  The pink teddy bear however is more intelligent and possesses special talents that the other ones due and takes out his peers; which saddens him because all he wanted to do was prove a point; the exact same thing the protagonist in “Battle Royal” wanted to do.
